To get an offer on your vehicle, you’ll need to have your vehicle appraised at Capital City Mitsubishi. You can then complete the transaction if you have the following items on hand:

• Valid state-issued photo ID/driver’s license for all registered vehicle owners
• Valid car title or payoff information
• Valid vehicle registration
• All keys, remotes, and accessories

Keep in mind that if the vehicle is titled to more than one person, all parties will need to be present in order to receive payment. Requirements may also differ depending on where your vehicle is registered. For more information, please ask a Capital City Mitsubishi representative.

In some situations, we may be able to buy your car even if it is leased rather than financed. However, you will need to check with your leasing company for more information about their policies and procedures.

If the offer you receive is less than the amount that you owe on the vehicle, you will have to pay the difference (i.e. negative equity) when you buy a truck or car.

However, if you plan to trade your vehicle in for another, you may be able to roll that negative equity into your new loan depending on your financial situation and credit history. Ask a Capital City Mitsubishi representative for details.
